Electric vehicle analyst Sawyer Merrit posted that SpaceX has launched a new, cheaper Starlink family plan in the United States for $40 a month and speeds of up to 100mbps.
The new "Residential 100mbps" plan includes: unlimited upload speeds, unlimited monthly data,$0 suite and free installation up to 100mbps.
SpaceX's current Starlink home services in the United States include: US$40/month (up to 100mbps), US$80/month (up to 250mbps), and US$120/month (speed 400+ mbps).
The new $40/month plan is currently only available in some areas of the United States.
